The Geneseo High School Lady Leafs Pink Zone Night is planned for Tuesday, Jan. 31, at the high school with the sophomore basketball game at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity competition at 7 p.m.

The annual event is in honor and in memory of those that have battled cancer. Lady Leaf players will dedicate their game to someone special who has been impacted by cancer.

Cancer survivors in attendance on Jan. 31 will be honored prior to the varsity game by members of the Geneseo and United Township High School basketball teams.

Tickets will be available for a variety of raffle items on display at the event, and all proceeds will be donated to local cancer support groups. Anyone planning to attend is asked to wear pink or purchase a Pink Zone shirt. Shirts will be available to purchase at the game.

Students in kindergarten through 12th grade will be admitted free to the basketball games.
