Do Art Productions will present a Comic Book Workshop for kids from 6-14 years old from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 2, at the Geneseo Public Library. The free program is offered by the Geneseo Library.
All kids in attendance will receive free comics, stickers and an activity book. There will be live music and a comic will be generated in real time on a giant white board.
The company will introduce their new comic, “This, That & The Other Thing,” which features comics created by kids and artwork from their workshops over the years.
A statement from the Geneseo Library reads, “It is a powerful way to show young readers that creativity, collaboration and big projects are within reach and that they can be part of them.
Registration is not required for the May 2 workshop.
