Robert “Bobby” L. Inglis, 45, of Geneseo, passed away on February 7, 2024, at his home. A memorial visitation will be held from 4-7 PM on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory-Geneseo Chapel. Bobby was born on March 24, 1978, in Geneseo, IL, the son of Thomas and Karen (VanDeGenachte) Inglis. He graduated from Geneseo High School, Class of 1997. He worked construction for many years and at HARTCO in Geneseo. He loved spending time with his daughter, the light of his life, Courtney. Bobby was an avid hunter who loved spending time outdoors and watching multiple football games on his many TVs. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He especially enjoyed giving a hard time to his brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. He will be missed dearly.
Those left to cherish his memory are father, Thomas (Tracy) Inglis, Karen (Will Emerick) Inglis, daughter, Courtney Paxton, siblings; Jason (Missy) Inglis, Whitney Bowton, Sidney Augsburger, Morgan (Jordan Welch) Bowton and Mikayla (Austin) Prevost, nieces and nephews; Olivia Welch, Miles Welch and Eira Augsburger.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Frederick VanDeGenachte and Robert Inglis Jr.
