After much planning and hard work, we’ve launched geneseocurrent.com. It’s here you’ll find great content that’s all about Geneseo. We’ll have articles, videos, and lots of photographs, video series, and maybe even a podcast.

It’s here you’ll find the most recent content about what’s happening right now in Geneseo. Whether it’s high school basketball games, ice cream socials, church softball games, and just about anything else, the Geneseo Current exists to bring local content to your fingertips as it’s happening, through several different mediums. There’s a list of local events so you can see what’s happening right here at home!

We’re going to continue to drive social media, but we’re also going to use our new website in many ways. It’s here you’ll be able to find all of our content. The idea for the Current came from a conversation with a friend. There was a time when we couldn’t wait to pick our local newspaper, every Friday, and see if our baseball picture made the sports section. We’re working hard to bring that magic back to Geneseo.

By now you’ve seen our photos or videos that contain logos from local business. You’ll see ads on our website because we will always keep our content free. It may be ad supported, but it will always be free. On our website, you won’t find those annoying popups asking you to subscribe. You won’t find those irritating ads that take a long time to load, disrupting your browsing experience.
