Jesse Crouch, left; JoAnne Hillman, and Guy Gibson will be helping serve at the Henry County Democrats ice cream social from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 11, in Geneseo City Park. Music will be provided by John Puentes and Mike Prenevost (In-A- Gadda- Da-Vita).
In addition to music, the event will include pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, chips, ice cream and desserts. Hillman said, “Everyone is welcome, whether they are Democrat, Republican, Independent or undecided. We want Henry County to show Springfield that we can all come together for some music, food and fun and we can all get along.” Photo by Claudia Loucks
