Kathy Williams is the featured artist for August at RutabagA Art Gallery, 108 North State St., Geneseo. The artist enjoys working with watercolors, screen printing, (and said she “learned most of what she knows with Don Beck’s assistance”) and acrylics. Williams joined the Geneseo Art League in 2004, where she was a member for nine years before moving back to Iowa. When RutabagA formed in 2016, Williams was invited to join the group and said, “I have enjoyed it very much and working with the art friends I’ve made here.” The RutabagA Gallery is open from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday through Sunday.
