Ava Brewer, left, and Jack Cooper, Geneseo High School seniors on the Maplette Team, show the “Geneseo Love Your Melon” hats the Maplettes will be selling from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, in conjunction with State Street Market in downtown Geneseo. The Maplettes, with the hats, will be located outside of Pegasus Fine Gifts, at 117 South State St., at the crosswalk in downtown. The hats are available to purchase in two different styles - $20 for cuffed and $30 for hats with poms. Cash, Venmo or checks will be accepted.
