Rock Valley Physical Therapy opened its doors at 1225 South Oakwood Ave. in Geneseo 10 years ago, and is celebrating that milestone anniversary with its clients and the community.

Each time a client visited the clinic prior to Monday, April 27, their name was entered into a drawing for prizes.  Drawings for those prizes will be held during Anniversary Week from April 27 through Saturday, May 2.

Kevin Kelley, a physical therapist who has been at the Geneseo clinic since its opening 10 years ago, recently was promoted to Vice President of Growth for the company and with his new position, will be at the Geneseo clinic on Mondays and Fridays.

Rock Valley Physical Therapy now has over 60 clinics in Nebraska, South Dakota, Iowa and Illinois, and the Geneseo clinic was the 28th to open in 2016.  When it opened in 2016, Kelley commented that Rock Valley continues to expand as a company, “looking for communities that would benefit from our care, which involves the mission of being a patient-centered, therapist-led organization dedicated to improving the health of our Midwest communities.”

“Rock Valley chose to open a clinic in Geneseo, as the city is known for an active and healthy lifestyle, and is a town that is well-rooted in Midwestern values,” he said.

With Kelley’s promotion, Nate Just became manager of the Geneseo clinic in March.  He has been with Rock Valley Physical Therapy for 15 years, and said he feels “extremely lucky to be able to step into a situation like the one here in Geneseo. The community support has been amazing over the last 10 years and has played a major role in the success of the clinic to this point.”

He added that he is looking forward to continuing to grow the clinic’s relationship in Geneseo: “Kevin and the staff in Geneseo have developed a reputation of providing quality care over the last decade that we hope to continue for the years to come.”

Just said the hope for the future is “to continue serving this community with great care from our phenomenal staff for many years to come.  We want to continue to adapt in an ever-changing healthcare environment to best meet our patients needs allowing them to live life healthy.”
