It isn’t just the Victorian charm that attracts residents and visitors to downtown Geneseo.
The community also has claimed the identity as an “art destination,” and the annual Geneseo Art Walk will be held Saturday, April 26, when the creative work of many artists and artisans will be showcased, including Alex Fox, who will be demonstrating the use of a treadle sewing machine (1907 New Ideal) at the Geneseo Historical Museum. The museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 26, and will feature additional displays, including Grant Wood, Norman Rockwell, Edwin Deming, local amateur photography and various art work.
