Nicole Freadhoff, assistant director at the Geneseo-Atkinson Food Pantry, shows the mini soup bowls that will be given to guests at the upcoming “Stop Hunger Soup Supper” on Friday, Sept. 15, at First Methodist Church, 302 North State St., Geneseo. Serving will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and the menu includes soup/chili, cornbread, dessert, and a Geneseo-Atkinson Food Pantry soup bowl, while supplies last. Advance tickets are available at the food pantry for $25, and may be purchased at the door on Sept. 15 for $30. There is a $5 discount for children under 14 years of age. Proceeds will support the Geneseo-Atkinson Food Pantry and September is “Hunger Action Month.”
