It’s a tradition for Geneseo High School students to gather in City Park before going to their school prom. This year was no exception, and even though the sunny skies disappeared, the park became a rainbow of color Saturday afternoon when students, dressed in formal attire, gathered to socialize prior to the 2026 Geneseo High School Prom. Parents and friends of the students also were in the park taking photos. The prom was held at the Rolling Meadows Event Center in Eldridge, Iowa. Photos by Claudia Loucks
