The Geneseo Current is adding a new weekly feature to its growing lineup of original programming.
The Current Kitchen premieres Monday, July 27, at 5 p.m., inviting viewers into the kitchen for recipes, cooking tips, and conversations with the people who make the local food scene unique.
New episodes will air every other Monday at 5 p.m. and will be available on The Geneseo Current's Facebook and Instagram pages, YouTube channel, and at GeneseoCurrent.com.
Unlike traditional cooking competitions or highly produced culinary shows, The Current Kitchen is designed to feel approachable and community-focused. Each episode features local guests preparing recipes, sharing techniques, talking about ingredients, and offering ideas viewers can bring into their own kitchens.
"Our community is filled with people who have incredible recipes, family traditions, and unique stories to tell," said Sarah DeMaranville from the Geneseo Current. "The Current Kitchen is about celebrating those people while giving viewers ideas they can actually use at home."

The premiere episode features Kim Schwarzkopf of A Spotted Apron, who shares how to make a quick and easy Cheeseburger Macaroni—a simple, family-friendly meal that's perfect for busy weeknights.
The Current Kitchen's lineup is already growing, with upcoming guests including Jill Gephart of North Street Treats, Katie Katsunis of Pegasus Fine Gifts, Abigail Wolf, who competed on Food Network's Baking Championship: Next Gen, and many other familiar faces from Geneseo's local food community. From home cooks to entrepreneurs and experienced bakers, each guest will bring something unique to the table.
