As Summer 2026 begins, regional Kitchen and Bath Design center Village Home Stores announces the addition of another category to help customers customize every room in their homes. Custom Closets by Village Home Stores joins the full lineup of departments that already includes cabinetry, countertops, appliances, appliance service, lighting, hardware, switches & outlet systems, flooring, wall tile, custom showers, window shades & blinds, and complete kitchen and bath remodeling services.

Since 1984, Village has been in the business of creating spaces that are crafted for personalized living. New owners Collin Akers and Adam Hoste have added a closet product that pairs with the level of quality Village customers have come to expect. The materials are made in the USA and all custom closet projects will be space-planned and measured by design experts at Village, then installed by the staff carpentry team.

The custom closet systems can be used to design closets, pantry spaces, laundry rooms, craft rooms, garages, mudrooms, party barns, hobby rooms, home offices, commercial spaces, and more. With over 36 finish options to select from and over a dozen door styles, there are options to fit any project size or budget. There is a wide array of accessory and organization options available and a brand new showroom expansion is now complete to help customers shop and select from all the options.

Village Home Stores serves both new construction and remodel customers in a large region of surrounding cities to Geneseo, Illinois including the extended Quad Cities area in both Illinois and Iowa. They are members of the Quad Cities Builders & Remodelers Association. The award-winning showroom in downtown Geneseo has now expanded into its fourth adjoining storefront with the launch of this new category of product along with added lighting showroom space from the expansion.
