Having successfully captured spots on the first three episodes of Food Network “Baking Championship: Next Gen,” Abigail Wolf and her brother Kenneth will continue showcasing their culinary arts on the fourth segment of the show which airs at 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 26.

On the third show, which aired on Monday, Jan. 19, the sister and brother team made a cherry tart inspired by Abigail’s freshman trip to Washington, D.C.  Kenneth created fondant cherry blossoms to add to the chocolate branch.  The theme for the competition was “Travel Inspired Desserts.”

The two said they are excited for next week’s episode which features “Puzzle Cakes.”

Their parents are Dan and Erica Wolf, and the family, which includes sister Lucy (13) live on a farm in Geneseo.  The children are home-schooled, and Abigail is a freshman and Kenneth is in fifth grade.

Mom and the two young baking competitors spent time in Burbank, CA, this summer while filming the Food Network series.

They were among 12 sibling pairs who were chosen to compete on the new show, on which four teams have now been eliminated.

When asked about their experiences in California while filming the shows, Abigail said, “It was really fun being part of the sibling interactions,” and her brother Kenneth replied, “Well, I wasn’t the only little brother with a bossy big sister!”

The family is not able to share just how many more weeks Abigail and Kenneth will compete, if they are eventually eliminated, or if they are the champions at the conclusion of the show, but Erica Wolf said, “when asked about winning, we say that they represented God, our family, and our farming lifestyle wonderfully.”
