GENESEO — The Geneseo boys golf team defeated Sherrard 165-183 in a dual meet at Country View Golf Course.
Jaxon Ernst, Kellen Vankerrebroeck and Gavin Davis each carded a 41 to lead the Maple Leafs. Trace Hager added a 42 to complete Geneseo's four counting scores.
Kain Stroud and Sage Windisch each finished with a 45 for Geneseo.
Today the Maple Leafs return to the course at Bunker-Links in Galesburg. Tee time is 3:30 pm.
