CAMBRIDGE — Sage Windisch earned medalist honors Monday as the Geneseo boys golf team defeated Orion 162-169 at Valley View Club.

Windisch led the field with a 38, finishing one stroke ahead of Orion senior John Nedved, who shot 39.

The Leafs also claimed the next two spots, with Kellen Vankerrebroeck and Trace Hager each shooting 41. Gavin Davis added a 42 to complete the Maple Leafs' four counting scores.

Orion freshman CJ Lister and sophomore Logan Bean each shot 42. Nedved's 39, along with the two 42s, accounted for three of the Chargers' four counting scores.

Geneseo's 162 gave the Maple Leafs a seven-stroke victory over Orion.
