STERLING — Senior Claire DeGrave led the Geneseo girls golf team Wednesday at the Western Big 6 Conference Tournament at Emerald Hill, shooting a 99 to tie for eighth individually.

The Lady Leafs finished sixth in the team standings with a score of 501. Madison Kuethe shot 118, Gracie Wilson finished with a 130 and Paysli Christ added a 154 to complete Geneseo's four counting scores. Ella Hepner also competed and shot 163.

Quincy won the conference tournament with a 379, edging Moline by one stroke. Sterling finished third at 434, followed by Rock Island at 438 and Galesburg at 443.

Galesburg's Ella Herchenroder earned medalist honors with an 82. DeGrave's 99 tied Quincy's Valle Tatman for eighth place.
