Geneseo Boys Golf Places Ninth at TPC Deere Run Invite

The Geneseo boys golf team finished ninth Monday at the Geneseo Boys Golf Invite at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, posting a team score of 362.

Geneseo's four scoring rounds came from Stroud, Ernst, Davis and Hager, combining for the Maple Leafs' 362.

The 12-team field was led by Peoria Notre Dame, which won the event with a 297. Davenport Assumption placed second at 327, followed by Galesburg at 329.

Fulton finished fourth at 343, Quincy fifth at 345 and Spring Valley Hall sixth at 346. Riverdale placed seventh with a 349, followed by Alleman at 352 and Geneseo at 362.

Sterling finished 10th at 393, Rock Falls was 11th at 396 and Rock Island finished 12th at 430.
