Green Machine: Week 4 Rundown

In front a pack house a Bob Reade Field, the Leafs got off to a fast start against United Township. But after earning a ten point lead, the offense began to sputter. The offense didn’t mount much of an attack until the third quarter when they put up their final seven points.

Week two of conference play takes us to 0-3 Galesburg. But don’t be deceived by their record. The Silver Streaks have a lot of talent and their backs are against the wall. They’ll be playing like their season is on the line. Geneseo Head coach Larry Johnsen says “This is the senior group that Galesburg has been waiting for. There are a lot of three year, returning starters that have a lot of conference experience. They’re long and athletic, they’re getting better every week adjusting to a new coach. “
