Green Machine: Week 5 Rundown

One week at a time

In Galesburg last Friday, the Maple Leafs dropped their second game in a row, falling to the Silver Streaks 28-7.    At times, the team looked disorganized and undisciplined.  But at times the team looked unbeatable.   The score was 21-7 at halftime, but there wasn’t enough of the ‘unbeatable’ to keep the game within reach.

Looking ahead to Sterling, there are a few things we know.  They’ll be fast, they’ll be physical, and they’ll be disciplined.  They are without two starters, both of them lost to knee injuries in the spring season.  One of them is their starting quarterback from a year ago.   Sterling enter the contest at 3-1.
