After dropping the first set, the Lady Leafs (18-16, 9-5 WB6) stormed out to a big lead in the second but a furious Sterling rally propelled the visiting Golden Warriors to a hard fought 25-19, 25-23 victory on Tuesday evening at GHS. Next Up: The Lady Leafs will conclude the 2023 regular season at Sherrard on Thursday October 19 (7:00pm). Postseason play begins on Monday October 23 where a rematch with #9 seeded Dixon awaits #7 GHS in the IHSA 3A Regional Quarterfinals. Match will take place at 6:00pm at LaSalle-Peru High School.
