Kale Whitaker had a big day at the plate, going 3-3 with an RBI and a couple runs scored while Cooper Ries smacked a pair of doubles and drove in a run but the visiting Pioneers held off the Leafs 8-6 to send GHS to their third consecutive loss.

Leafs found themselves back in the win column as the took advantage of Alleman errors enroute to a 8-1 victory. Kale Whitaker stayed hot at the plate with a pair of doubles while driving in four runs. Kolten Schmoll-Burton hit a two-run homer and Aidan Brudos went six innings on the hill, giving up just five hits and striking out six.
