Kruiz Ludwig gave up zero runs on four hits while striking out four in the Leafs 8-0 win over Alleman on Tuesday April 9th. Ludwig also added a triple and a run scored at the plate for GHS. Kale Whitaker & Jackson McAvoy added a pair of doubles in the win. Connor Mitchell gave up a single hit while striking out four as he closed out the final 2.1 innings on the mound. A Saturday doubleheader saw Rock Island take game one 4-2 in eight innings and followed up with a 8-1 game two win over GHS. Next Up: Home against Rockridge on Tuesday (4:30pm).
