A Kruiz Ludwig RBI single in the 7th inning sent the battle with Princeton to extra innings on Friday evening at PHS but the host Tigers walked it off with an infield single in the 8th to pick up the 5-4 win. GHS bounced back in game one of a Saturday doubleheader in Galesburg as the Leafs struck for six in the 1st inning (all with two outs) and Ludwig pitched a complete game shutout for a 7-0 game one win. Brennan Lambin and Logan Palmer each recorded RBI doubles during the early offensive explosion. The host Streaks bounced back in game two as they handed the Leafs a 9-2 setback.
