The Green Machine struck quick on Friday night in Quincy as Jackson Reade returned the opening kickoff 90 yards to give GHS a quick 7-0 lead. Reades TD however were the only points GHS could muster up as the host Blue Devils scored the final 35 and the secured the 2023 WB6 Championship outright with a 35-7 victory at Flinn Memorial Stadium.

Next Up: Regular season finale and Senior Night next Friday as Rock Island pays a visit to Bob Reade Field. The Rocks (2-6, 2-3) upset Sterling (3-5, 3-2) at Almquist Field 14-7. Last season, the Green Machine rallied from a 14-0 deficit to defeat the Rocks 36-22.
