Moline pitching cooled off the Leaf bats on Wednesday as a Kale Whitaker single was all GHS managed to scratch out versus the host Maroons. Aiden Brudos pitched a solid six innings, giving up just six hits and four runs. The loss ended the Leafs three game conference winning streak and pushed their overall record to 6-7 (3-1 WB6).

Jackson McAvoy collected a couple of hits and scored a run but the host Red Wings of Benet Academy were too much for GHS 5-2. Jaydon Burrage added a couple hits in the loss. The Leafs record fell to 6-8 on the season.
