The visiting Spartans of Springfield Southeast jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the first but that’s all they would get as the Leafs quickly took control on their way to a 7-1 victory on Friday at Stone Field! Kolten Schmoll-Burton picked up the win with Blake Welge (HR, 3 RBI), Kale Whitaker (2 2B, 3 RBI), AJ Weller (3B, 2R), & Connor Mitchell (2H) leading the Leafs at the plate.
