Kale Whitaker stayed hot at the plate with a pair of doubles while driving in four runs. Kolten Schmoll-Burton hit a two-run homer and Aidan Brudos went six innings on the hill, giving up just five hits and striking out six.

Penny Kline collected a couple hits while Kendyl Wassenhove gave up just six hits and three runs in the loss.

Another day, another rally for the Lady Leafs. Lillian Brown smacked three doubles and scored three runs with Madisyn Buysse collecting a couple hits while driving in three as the Lady Leafs rallied late for the second consecutive game to defeat Kewanee 12-10. Avery Kennedy and McKenna Johnson each doubled and Mackenzie Air gave up a pair of hits and a single run over four plus innings in relief. The Lady Leafs ninth straight win improves their record to 11-4 overall.

Cedric Kehoe took first place in the 300m hurdles-A with Isaac Nixon taking the honors in the 400m-C race. Finn Schaad took second place in pole vault-A as did Micah Nicke in the 400m-B run. Coming in third place were Gavin Hintgen (400m-A), Jayden Wexell (300m hurdles-B), Max Johnson (300m hurdles-C), Henley Bourne (pole vault-B), & Kael McCord (pole vault-C). Jocelyn Cechowicz (pole vault) and Bella Brown (shot put) each took first place on Friday even in Galesburg. Brooklyn Smith took second and fourth in the 1600 meter run and 3200 meter run respectively. Payton Boone finished fourth in the 100 meter hurdles and the 4x400 relay team of Oliva Yost, Katherine Barickman, Brooklyn Smith, & Molly Snyder also took fourth.

A two run walk-off single by McKenna Johnson scored Penny Kline and Avery Kennedy to complete a late Lady Leaf rally 6-5. Madisyn Buysse homered in the fourth to get GHS on the board and Kennedy & Lillian Brown each smacked a double. Jaylee Brudos knocked in a pair of runs and Kendyl Wassenhove gave up just six hits while striking out seven in the win.
