The October event will include a “Breast Cancer Program & Mini Breast Cancer Expo.” The mini expo will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. with the program and luncheon from 12 to 1 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 22, in the Activity Room at the Geneseo Community Center. The mini expo is planned to provide an opportunity for interested people to learn about available local resources, including HHH services, vendors and support groups.
There is no cost to attend the mini expo, although there is a charge of $12 for the program and luncheon from 12 to 1 p.m.
The program on Breast Cancer will be presented by Dr. Heather Wakefield, Hammond-Henry Hospital General Surgeon. Reservations for the luncheon should be made by Thursday, Oct. 15, by emailing hhhfound@hammondhenry.com or by calling 309-944-9112.
