The 2023 Geneseo PTA Life Members were recognized at the Green and White Football game. This year’s Life Member recipients are, from left, Kim Rivera, kindergarten teacher at Millikin; Nicole Cherry, administrative assistant at Geneseo High School; Pam Eiker, volunteer at Southwest; Deb Wolfe, administrative assistant at Geneseo Middle School; and Aaron Skopec, physical education teacher at Southwest. Helen Johnston, retired nurse at Northside, and Stephanie Rickman, retired fourth grade teacher at Northside, also received Life Member Awards, but were absent for the photo. The PTA Life Member Award is presented each year by District 228 PTA organizations. Each school nominates outstanding PTA members who went above and beyond to serve their school. Geneseo PTA has been presenting Life Member awards since 1954 to more than 400 individuals.
