Julie Zwica, left, representing the Hammond-Henry Hospital Auxiliary, and Angie Snook, curator of the Geneseo Historical Museum, and who will be guest speaker at the Hospital Auxiliary Membership Event, “Volunteers are the ‘Soles’ of Hammond-Henry Hospital Auxiliary,” planned for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 19 at First Lutheran Church, 114 East Main St., Geneseo. Snook will share “The History and the Story of Shoes,” which includes a display of shoes through the ages.

The Membership Event, for Auxiliary members and any prospective members interested in joining the Auxiliary, will include a hot lunch.

Dave Shannon, interim CEO of Hammond-Henry Hospital, will present an update on happenings at the hospital and Kathleen VanDeRostyne, Auxiliary Volunteer Manager, will share a variety of opportunities for Auxiliary volunteers.
