All ages and skills are welcome to sign up for the upcoming classes planned through 2023 at RutbagA Studio and Gallery, located at 108 North State St. in downtown Geneseo.

Jamie Sullivan will be facilitating different classes from 5 to 6:30p.m., every other Tuesday night, beginning Sept. 12, through the remainder of this year. Classes are scheduled on Sept. 12, Sept. 26, Oct. 10, Oct. 24, Nov. 7, Nov. 21, Dec. 5, and Dec. 19.

September classes:

-Sept. 12 – Those planning to attend are asked to bring an old piece of their work on paper to cut up or use some of the supplies at RutabagA to make a stained glass-like mosaic work of art using paper. Old paint marker adds an extra “leaded” touch. Each design will be unique and participants can use their own ideas or can ask for ideas from instructor.

-Sept. 26 – “Get ready to decorate your house for fall by painting a cute pumpkin on canvas,” Sullivan said. “Whether traditional or something to match your décor, we have you covered. Let’s do some composition and color as we put acrylic paint on canvas.”
