Geneseo High School students achieving academic awards were honored at the recent GHS Academic Scholar Night held in the GHS Concert Hall.
National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, Illinois State Scholars, and AP Scholars were recognized.
In addition to the students, parents and other guests attended the event.
Opening and closing remarks were given by GHS Principal Tom Ryerson and staff members who spoke were Andrea Snook, Social Studies, National Honor Society Award; and Sarah Degarmo, Art, National Technical Honor Society Award.
Students who took part in the program included Reyhan Onder, Peyton Kies, Kjerstin Wildemuth, Kary Wilson, Jonathan Freadhoff, Madison Reade and Dawsyn McDonald.
