Geneseo High School students achieving academic awards were honored at the recent GHS Academic Scholar Night held in the GHS Concert Hall.
National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, Illinois State Scholars, and AP Scholars were recognized.
In addition to the students, parents and other guests attended the event.
Opening and closing remarks were given by GHS Principal Tom Ryerson and staff members who spoke were Mike Harrington, Social Studies, National Honor Society Award; and Alison Litton, Family and Consumer Sciences, National Technical Honor Society Award.
Students who took part in the program included Payton Snider, Kendall Ellerbrock, Dylan Gehl, Shane Bagby, Allison File, Caroline Girten and Gwenivere Erickson.
