The Illinois Art Education Association creates an annual exhibition of student art work and the show travels the State of Illinois promoting art education in every community. The show has been compiled each year for more than 20 years and for the first time, has come to the northwest corner of Illinois.

David Smith said, “These works of art have been traveling the State of Illinois for the past year and the exhibit has had eight previous stops including the rotunda at the State Capitol.”

The exhibit is free and open to the public and will remain at the Smith Gallery until the end of August. Smith Studio and Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Photo by Claudia Loucks
