GENESEO, IL — October 8, 2026 — CMC Resources, a locally owned professional services company, is excited to announce its move to a new office location above The Cellar in downtown Geneseo. The company will celebrate the move with a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting on October 22 from 4–7 p.m.
Founded by Christine and Mark Clementz, CMC Resources has grown from its roots in bookkeeping and financial services into a broader resource for small businesses, nonprofits, and organizations. The company provides bookkeeping, financial management, payroll, data analysis, grant writing, fundraising support, social media, branding, and other business services.
A growing part of CMC Resources is its event planning and fundraising services, led by Jessica Reece. Jessica brings experience in community events, organizational support, and fundraising and enjoys helping businesses, nonprofits, and organizations turn ideas into successful events and meaningful fundraising opportunities.
From planning and coordinating events to developing fundraising ideas and helping organizations connect with their communities, Jessica works to take the stress out of the details while helping clients create events that are both successful and memorable.
“CMC Resources has become so much more than bookkeeping,” said Christine Clementz, owner of CMC Resources. “We want to be a resource for businesses and organizations in our community. Whether someone needs help with their books, a fundraiser, an event, social media, branding, or figuring out what comes next, we want to help them succeed.”
The new downtown location represents an exciting next chapter for CMC Resources as the company continues to expand its services and strengthen its connection to the Geneseo community.
“We are excited to have a space where people can stop in, meet with us, talk about their ideas, and see what CMC Resources can do for them,” said Jessica Reece. “We love helping people take an idea and turn it into something successful, whether that is a business project, a community event, or a fundraising campaign.”
The Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting will take place October 22 from 4–7 p.m. at CMC Resources’ new office above The Cellar in downtown Geneseo. Community members, business owners, clients, organizations, friends, and local leaders are invited to stop by, tour the new space, meet the CMC Resources team, and celebrate this exciting milestone.
