The Henry & Stark County Health Departments and First Choice Healthcare remind area residents of our “12 Communities, 12 Months” outreach initiative for 2023. The initiative calls for Health Department & First Choice Healthcare staff going out to 1 Henry and Stark County community each month to conduct a special outreach event that will focus on all the public and clinic health services that are available to our local residents. In addition, special health designations of importance will be noted throughout the year at these events.
The Health Departments & First Choice Healthcare announce our “12 Communities, 12 Months” event for April will be a special outreach display on Friday, April 28th from 9:00am-11:00am in the lobby at the Geneseo Public Library District, 805 N. Chicago St., Geneseo. The display will focus on such April designations as Cancer Control Month and National Infant Immunization (24-1) and Every Kid Healthy (24-28) Week . Therefore, Health Department & First Choice Healthcare staff will be conducting Free Blood Pressure checks that day. In addition, will we have Free Covid-19 Home Tests, Free Healthy Snacks, Free giveaways, and lots of health information available.
This is going to be a great event as there will be something for everyone interested in getting some great information, taking advantage of free giveaways, promotions, maybe some health screenings, and just partaking in a pleasant time visiting and talking with our Health Department staff.
