School spirit fill the Geneseo High School gym Friday morning when the Unified Physical Education Students from the GHS Life Skills Class faced off in a volleyball game against GHS staff.
A beach ball was used in the match of friendly competition.
Students were cheered on by the entire school body as Principal Tom Ryerson, Assistant Principals Brooke Emmerson, Jeremy Mosier and Athletic Director Joe Nichols, in addition to several staff members took part in the game.
Members of the school Pep Band provided background music during the game and GHS cheerleaders led the crowd in cheers.
The event was the culmination of a week filled with holiday festivities, including Holiday Dress Days, and was the perfect way to embrace the season.
