Marie Ufheil
Marie Ufheil has been named Volunteer of the Month at the Geneseo-Atkinson Food Pantry. She has been a volunteer at the food pantry for the last year, and her responsibilities include sorting and displaying donated jewelry and greeting cards.
She has six children, “living all over the country, 13 grandchildren, and nine-great-grandchildren.”
She enjoys attending Bible studies, nurse class reunions, church, and family gatherings.
Ufheil said she loves everyone she works with and loves being a volunteer, and added that she feels wanted and needed at the food pantry.
Nicole Freadhoff, assistant director at the food pantry, said, “Thank you for all your help and the love you put into your work, Marie!”
