The Geneseo Public Library is holding a series of retirement planning workshops, beginning Tuesday, March 10. The workshops, which all begin at 6 p.m., are sponsored by The Society for Financial Awareness representative Jamie Ragins.
Each of the three sessions will focus on the core principles of building a confident, sustainable retirement plan, and each session is approximately one-hour in length.
Topics to be discussed include how recent tax changes may affect retirement planning, how to optimize Social Security, when Roth conversions may or not make sense; strategies to improve retirement income tax efficiency, and ways to create more flexible, tax-smart cash flow.
To register for any or all of the three sessions, email jragins@sofausa.org or call 563-223-8887. Reservations will not be accepted at the library.
