Good for You, Melania

It’s time someone finally called out that Kimmel jerk! Yeah, hooray for the First Amendment, but be respectful and show at least a penny of class! His hateful rhetoric has no place in our society. Good for you, Melania Trump.

Scout Visited

Yesterday a “Scout” hummingbird visited our feeder. Scout hummingbirds arrive first to checkout possible nesting areas. If the female likes what her husband finds to be a nice home, then all is good!!!!

Orioles

I have not seen any orioles at their special feeder. They have grape jelly and part of an orange awaiting them. The other day I did see one of my favorite birds, a Red-headed woodpecker.

Gardens

With the exception of 20 tomato plants and onions, all our plants, bulbs, and seeds are planted. Each year it is tougher on us because of health problems, but we enjoy the fruits of our labor. Our neighbor, Jim Putnam, tills his garden and ours at the same time. It’s always appreciated. This spring we planted a lot more perennials. Ha! Our place looks like a plant nursery. It’s no wonder our son, Lance, is a manger of a plant nursery in St. Louis.

Jokes

1) Why did the banana visit the doctor? Ans: It wasn’t peeling well.

2) How do you know when a bucket is sick? Ans: It looks a little pail.

3) You won’t believe the word that’s always spelled wrong in dictionaries. It’s wrong.
