GALESBURG — Claire Degrave led the Geneseo girls golf team with a sixth-place finish Saturday at the 42nd annual Galesburg Silver Streaks Girls Invitational at Bunker Links Municipal Golf Course.

DeGrave shot an 88, finishing 11 strokes behind medalist Haley Robertson of Moline, who carded a 77.

Geneseo finished sixth in the team standings with a score of 473. Madison Kuethe shot 113, Paysli Christ finished with a 133 and Gracie Wilson added a 139 to complete the Lady Leafs' four counting scores. Ella Hepner also competed, shooting 150.

Moline won the tournament with a 355, four strokes ahead of Quincy at 359. Macomb finished third at 387, followed by Orion at 394 and Galesburg at 407.

Next Up: The Lady Leafs begin post season play Highland Springs Golf Course in Rock Island at the 1A Regional on Tuesday morning. Tee time is 8:30 am.
