GENESEO — In Western Big 6 Conference play, the Lady Leafs volleyball team rallied after dropping the opening set to defeat Rock Island 2-1 on Tuesday night.
Rock Island won the first set 25-18, but the Lady Leafs responded with a 25-20 victory in the second to force a deciding set.
Geneseo completed the comeback with a 25-22 win in the third set, securing its sixth consecutive victory.
The Lady Leafs' winning streak includes victories over Alleman, Orion, United Township, Galesburg, Moline, and Rock Island.
