EAST MOLINE — The Geneseo volleyball team picked up its third consecutive victory Thursday night, defeating United Township 2-0 in Western Big 6 Conference play.
The Lady Leafs have put together three straight sweeps, defeating Alleman, Orion and United Township without dropping a set. The run follows consecutive losses to conference opponents.
Geneseo improved to 9-5 overall with the victory.
Next Up: The Lady Leafs travel to Galesburg on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
