The Geneseo volleyball team fell to Quincy in straight sets Wednesday night at Geneseo High School.

The Blue Devils defeated the Maple Leafs 2-0, extending Quincy's winning streak to nine matches.

Geneseo fell to 6-5 on the season with the loss. It marked the Leafs' second consecutive defeat after falling to unbeaten Sterling in straight sets Tuesday night.

The Maple Leafs opened Western Big 6 Conference play with a three-set victory over Rock Island on Sept. 3 before dropping matches to Sterling and Quincy.

Set scores and individual statistics from Wednesday's match were not available as of Wednesday night.

The Lady Leafs returns to action Tuesday, Sept. 15, when the Maple Leafs host Alleman.
