COLCHESTER — Geneseo senior Claire DeGrave shot a 78 to tie for seventh individually at the Macomb Invitational on Saturday at Gold Hills Golf Course.

DeGrave finished eight over par and 11 strokes behind medalist Nancy Scholz of Quincy Notre Dame, who shot a three-under 67. DeGrave tied Monmouth United's Paige Christianson with her 78.

The Lady Leafs finished eighth in the team standings with a score of 461. Madison Kuethe shot a 110, Paysli Christ finished with a 133, and Ella Hepner carded a 140.

Geneseo finished eighth in the team standings with a score of 461, ahead of Mercer County and Kewanee among the teams with complete scores shown in the results.
